SOP: Processing Credit Card Payments for Final Bills

Objective:

To guide team members on how to process credit card payments for final bills using Salesforce and Stripe.

Key Steps:

  1. Obtain the client's email address and locate the client’s itinerary in Salesforce.
  2. Check the final amount owed by the client in the portal.
  3. If the client needs to pay with a credit card, create a task for Heather Love in Hubspot to send a credit card payment link.
  4. Include the itinerary URL in the task for reference.
  5. Set the task for Heather Love with a due date for the next day and medium priority.
  6. Inform the client about the credit card payment link and advise them to expect it the next day.
  7. Create a follow-up task for yourself to ensure the credit card link was sent to the client.
  8. Set the follow-up task for yourself with a due date before Heather Love leaves the office, with high priority.

Cautionary Notes:

  • Only Heather Love has the ability to create credit card payment links.
  • Ensure the final amount is accurate before sending the credit card payment link.
  • Double-check the client's email address to avoid sending the link to the wrong recipient.
