Hello PARENT,
Thank you so much for asking! The safety of our students is our utmost priority and we are monitoring the situation around the globe closely. We are monitoring the latest State Department updates, local, and international news sources, and are in touch with our local teams on the ground.
Based on current information, we are not currently canceling summer programs and anticipate all programs will run smoothly. We will not hesitate to re-route or cancel if the situation calls for it, and are evaluating this on two levels:
- Country-level safety: If we deem that key portions of the country are risky as a whole, we will re-route to a different area, or move students to a different country. If the latter, students can travel to another country or request a refund.
- Program-level safety: if the main portions of the program are consistently stable and safe, but one piece of it is of concern, we will adjust the itinerary accordingly.
