SOP: Adding Passport Details to Client Portal
Objective
To successfully add passport details for a client to the portal in Salesforce.
Key Steps
- Retrieve Client Information
- Obtain the client's email address.
- Log in to Salesforce.
- Use the search bar to find the client's record.
- Access Client Itinerary
- Identify the correct travel program for the client.
- Click on the itinerary link to open it.
- Navigate to Portal
- Locate and click on the portal link within the client's itinerary.
- Submit Passport Details
- Click on the checklist button.
- Confirm the traveler's details against the passport image provided.
- Enter passport details such as passport number, expiration date, country of issue, etc.
- Upload the passport image.
- Verify the uploaded file.
- Submit the passport details.
- Finalize and Notify Client
- Confirm the successful submission of passport details in the portal.
- Close the portal tab.
- Send a confirmation email to the client.
- Update the status in Salesforce to 'closed'.
Cautionary Notes
- Ensure accuracy when entering passport details to avoid errors.
- Double-check all information against the provided passport image.
- Be cautious when uploading the correct passport file to the portal.
