SOP: Updating Student Date of Birth in Salesforce
Objective:
To update a student's date of birth in their contact record in Salesforce accurately and efficiently.
Key Steps:
- Search for the student’s Itinerary in Salesforce by entering their name in the search bar.
- Locate the student's contact record and scroll down to the Traveler Details page.
- Click on the student's name to access the contact record.
- Scroll down to the birth date section and manually revise the date of birth.
- Confirm the date format with the client (e.g., month, day, year or day, month, year).
- Update the birth year in the portal password section under system information.
- Double-check and save the changes in both the contact record and portal password.
- Verify the updated date of birth in the portal link within the itinerary.
